MOT

Any commercial vehicle over 3.5 tonne is legally required to have an annual MOT test after 1 year to ensure it is in roadworthy condition.

RD Avery are able to organise MOT testing for any vehicle over 3.5 tonne including trailers. We can book a test slot direct with VOSA, undertake pre-MOT inspections and prepare your vehicle for Test including steam cleaning. This involves checking the vehicle over so things are picked up before the Ministry Test, helping to reduce costs and any penalties that VOSA may impose. We can then present your vehicle at the Test Station.

We also have a MOT centre and can carry out MOTs on light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tonne including;

• Class 4 MOT – Cars and light commercials
• Class 5 MOT – Vehicles with 13 to 16 passenger seats
• Class 7 MOT – Commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonne
