Winter Checklist for your Car

As winter gets closer it is important to ensure your car is in good working condition to guard against failure in the cold, dark days ahead.  Here is our checklist to help minimise any problems that you might encounter.

1. Check all your lights are working

You may think both your headlights are working but it might just be one!  The more you can be see and be seen in the dark the better.

2. Check your tyre pressures and tread

Tyres that are flat and/or worn could cause problems on icy roads.

3. Check your windscreen washers and wiper blades

Make sure you have a clear view of the road especially in wet, cold and snowy conditions.

4. Check your coolant levels and antifreeze strength

Make sure your coolant doesn’t freeze which could cause major engine problems.

If you haven’t got time to do this yourself, the good news is that we are currently offering to do this for you free of charge, all you need to do is book your free winter check appointment.  Do it today and guard against the weather this winter!
